Victoria Galpin

Vicky trained at Eden Veterinary Practice and qualified in 2014. She has been Head Nurse since 2015. She enjoys all aspects of nursing, with a particular interest in surgical nursing. Her role includes mentoring and developing the nursing team and junior vets, working closely with the Pip, our small animal clinical lead, to continually review and improve clinical practices and standards. Vicky’s expertise is also applied as the main contact for insurance claims and queries. The Head Nurse role is varied and challenging, but she values the opportunity to contribute to excellent client care and the wellbeing of pets.

Outside of work, Vicky enjoys riding her horse and walking her dogs. During lockdown, she purchased her first flock of pedigree sheep, keeping her busy and providing plenty of stories for the team, especially about Gloria, her digestive-biscuit-loving ewe.
