Suzanne Ackerley

I graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2008 and strive to provide a truly excellent all-round, dedicated and personalised service to both large and small animals alike (and their owners).

I enjoy the mixed practice variety, cruising the countryside and seeing your furry best friends all in a day.

My two favourite veterinary procedures are castrations and abscesses! (Someone has to!)

Providing our decided in-house out of hours service is a passion and being able to answer the phone myself for emergency assistance is a privilege to ensure our clients' livestock, horses and pets are all given the absolute best service 24-hours a day.

I'm also a mum (to a boy and girl), farmers wife and enjoy swimming, running and yoga. Lou our JRT enjoys being a vet's best friend - she loves meeting both people and animals! We also have 3 collie pups that I'm trying to train to be good sheepdogs...watch this space!

I'm Clinical Director at Eden & Border and think we have an amazing team hence why I've been here for 15 years!
